Journaling My Christmas

starbursts

As many of you may already know I am taking Shimelle’s Journal Your Christmas for the second year in a row.

I got so much out of this class last year – it gave me the opportunity to dig deep in areas I would normally gloss over and as I’m going through another year of change ans transition writing everything down really helps.

I was a little perplexed as to where I would house my Journal Your Christmas entries – aside from my trusty $1.00 notebook from the bins at Michael’s I’m going to continue to add pages to the Project Life album I used during Shimelle’s Learn Something New Every Day back in September.

I will be sharing bits of what I do with this class and my creations as I go – these entries and pages will be separate from those I’m creating for Insta-Christmas so by the time 2014 rolls around I will have this holiday season as documented as it possibly could be!

Yesterday was our first day of class and we were asked to write our Christmas manifesto. Having a bit of a down in the dumps day I started it by writing “survive” but I had a little chat with my dear friend and wonder twin who told me that I will never have a Christmas that looks just like this one so it was up to me to enjoy it, and make it special. As always she is right and so tonight I’ll be writing a new manifesto. Stay tuned as I share more and more of this project in the coming weeks!

What holiday projects would you like to see? What projects do you have planned? Please share! I love hearing from you!
